Is My Home Theater set-up good?
I have a 50 "Panasonic Plasma TV that is mounted on the wall and all wires are hidden and have a 5.1 Bose Surround System (2 speakers in one speaker), which is also mounted on the wall, about 3 TV and 2 on the walls behind, its connected to a receiver from Yamaha. I have a LG DVD burner, a 80GB (backward compatible version) PS3, 9000HD Viewsat FTA satellite receiver and a monster power surge bar. All these are connected by Monster Cable cables and high-end version of them. All these are in an entertainment console that makes the room look elegant and then all we see is the TV and speakers until you open the console.
Yes ... if you really use the PS3 for its Blu-ray not so large. If you using the game, then you probably have some burn with the plasma TV. LCD must have been because they have 0% burn during the game. Bose ... not great for a great sound. I have an Infinity speaker system that shakes my house, 5,000 square foot, when climbing the receiver with THX certification.
