Replacing the RAM on my laptop Inspiron 6000, help with grounding?
bought two 1GB sticks of Kingston RAM from Newegg and will be installing tomorrow. I know I need to ground myself just to make sure. I have no carpet, all hardwood floors, I should be barefoot or in regular shoes? A land, can I touch the metal legs of a TV tray as a desk, I have a furnace wall, you may touch me, can I touch the case of my desktop computer, or what are other objects that could touch down myself. as installation of any ram.
