
Camping while driving cross country - im feeling of safety concern. advice?
will be me and another woman. just cannot afford one nite hotel EV, we like to camp and want to have some adventures. My concern is not really about bears and the like, and more for fear of murderers and rapists and thieves. (i know i sound paranoid problems, I see much TV tou i suppose ...) im street smart and have camped many times. the idea of being so far from everything family problem is what makes me worry. tips for safe and does not say so paranoid? we are leaving in August
If you're an experienced camper, then you know state park camps that water and electricity are very safe so far only as camping and use the restrooms. Beyond that, simply to inform the rangers of the route, as where to go and what time you expect to return. Someone in your house can call every day and to notify the law if you do not call. Unfortunately, no one else can do to be prepared for random acts of madness and horror, whether in town or in the desert.
