10 Bone-headed Mistakes Plasma TV buyers should avoid!
In Search of a big screen TV means a lot to avoid people trying to dazzle with new technology.
You have to avoid the slick TV salesmen talking about "DLP", "EDTV" or "1080i". You have to outsmart internet con artists selling "gray market plasmas. And you have to ignore the bone-headed advice from Fred, the neighborhood know-it-all.
Error # 1: Do not buy a "No-Name" plasma TV!
The most important decision you can make when buying a big screen TV is to decide not buy a "No-Name". A device as complex as an LCD, Plasma or DLP TV must be manufactured using the best components of dozens of technical experts working in plants of several million dollars. "No, companies with name" use any of those.
Failure # 2: Never Trust A "Seeing Eye" Seller TV!
If you walk into a TV showroom EDTV and HDTV do not know, the smile of a slick salesman and will eat for lunch! Do not let vendors make decisions for you, or you end up with some outdated TV his boss wants rid of him.
