PC resolutions for RCA 42 "1080?
This is my first time connect a TV to a computer, im trying to get a higher resolution on my TV, but it works reolution addition of 1280x720, my model number is L42FHD37 TV, the TV's VGA input and I got connected and became to my Gforce8800 DVI 640MB. RCA's website says it can go up to 1920x1080, but I can not work.
Looks like only the HDMI inputs are 1080p capable input. Therefore, if you try to use VGA, 720p is probably the best bet. However, if you have digital DVI on your PC, get a DVI to HDMI cable and must be able to go all the way to 1080p, if your video card supports that resolution as well.
